Phoenix Place is a consumer-run clubhouse. We are here to socialize and interact because we know isolation can cause persons with mental illness to become sick. This is not necessary! We get together and have fun and fellowship! We also educate ourselves and the community about recovery.
Recovery is a process by which an individual with mental illness recovers self-esteem, dreams, self-worth, pride, choice, dignity and meaning.

Consumers are your peers who are recovering from mental illness. Interacting with your peers can give you opportunities to enrich your life through socialization, productive activities and fun. Clermont Counseling Center offers three optional programs to enhance your recovery.

TEAM ACHIEVE
Together Able and Willing
Everyone Caring for Others
Achieves Hope is Essential
More Investing our Energies
  Everyone Wins
  Visualizing Success
  Energizing our Lives

TEAM ACHIEVE is the peer support group for Clermont Counseling Center. The mission of TEAM ACHIEVE is to support and respect people with mental illnesses and to help them cope more effectively. It also serves to break the stigma of mental illness and all disabilities by educating the public about the facts of the illnesses. They meet to nurture and encourage one another. They are also active politically. Meets Mondays from noon to 1:15 p.m.

Bridges
Bridges is a 10-week educational program taught for consumers by consumers. It is a comprehensive program that teaches you about the different mental illnesses and how to cope with them. In a fun and interesting way, consumers are empowered to focus on recovery and begin to dream again.

Ask your Case Manager if you are interested in either TEAM ACHIEVE or Bridges.
